Featured Station: All Over The Place

Rob Galgano started “All Over The Place” as a way to continue his radio career, which started at WRPI in Troy, NY in the early ‘80s and ended at WICN in Worcester, MA in 1986. Despite being out of radio for quite some time, Rob’s desire to be on the air never ceased to exist. When the technology finally became available for low-cost Internet broadcasting, Rob jumped right in. AOTP began basic broadcasting on Live365 in 2003.

Although he was back in the radio world, Rob wanted to maximize his time on the air. As a result, Rob served as a DJ at two additional Internet radio stations, Homegrown Radio NJ, and Hear New Brunswick. After a few years with both stations, Rob began to focus exclusively on doing live AOTP broadcasts from his attic in Westfield.. As of Fall 2011, AOTP is broadcasting live full time.

Rob’s favorite musical genres are indie pop, new wave and alternative rock, but anything is fair game for the AOTP playlist, which is filled with all kinds of music from the '60s to today, all in one neat package. “It's like the weather: if you don't like what's on now, wait a few minutes and it will change.” AOTP draws from a library of over 65,000 songs, with new tracks being added every week.

Since going live, AOTP has garnered numerous “Favorite Station” selections and several followers on Facebook; including Mark Edwards of “My Dad Is Dead”, John Wicks of “The Records”, and Don Gerard, the mayor of Champaign, IL! AOTP has also developed an international following with many recent listeners tuning in from Canada, the United Kingdom, Germany, Mexico, France, Pakistan and Japan.

You can follow AOTP on Twitter (@AOTPonLive365) and Facebook (https://www.facebook.com/groups/48817048935) or visit AOTP’s official website (http://www.aotpradio.com).

It’s bound to confuse as well as delight – All Over The Place on Live365.com!
